Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: 21st May 2025
Our Commitment
Breeze of Styles LLC d/b/a Breeze of Compliance™ (“BOC,” “we,” “us”) is committed to providing a website, customer documents, and e-mail workflows that are usable by everyone, regardless of ability. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the W3C – the same benchmark adopted in the U.S. Department of Justice’s 2024 web-accessibility rule and Section 508 guidance for federal suppliers.
Measures We Take
Continuous Improvement Steps
WCAG-2.1-AA audits: Quarterly automated scans plus manual NVDA / VoiceOver keyboard testing.
W3C Accessibility-Statement Generator baseline to detect gaps annually.
NIST 800-171 data-security overlay for encrypted PDFs and secure-e-mail of client tax data (IRS secure-e-mail policy).
Staff training on ADA Title II web rule and Section 508 procurement standards every April.
Accessible Alternatives
All IRS forms we prepare are available in Section 508-compliant PDFs, large-print, or Braille upon request; we source accessible templates from the IRS’s public library.
Draft federal returns can be supplied in HTML or tagged-PDF format so screen-reader users can review before signing.
Conformance Status
As of May 21 2025 we believe the public pages on breezeofcompliance.com partially conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. Remaining issues (see “Known Limitations”) relate to legacy downloadable IRS instructions that are not yet fully tagged.
Conformance claim scope: all content hosted under https://breezeofcompliance.com and generated e-mails associated with client log-ins. Content inside third-party state-tax portals and DocuSign frames is outside our direct control, but we monitor their conformance and offer accessible alternatives when asked.
Compatibility & Assistive Tech
Our site and downloadable PDFs are designed to work with:
Latest two versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox
Screen-reader combos: NVDA + Firefox, JAWS + Chrome, VoiceOver (iOS/macOS)
200 % browser zoom and Windows Magnifier
Known Limitations
Issue | What users may experience | Planned fix / workaround |
---|---|---|
PDF copies of IRS instructions linked from Resources page may lack tags | Screen-reader users may encounter reading-order issues | Accessible HTML versions provided on request within 48 hours (IRS also hosts tagged versions) |
State tax-portal iframes (e.g., Florida e-Services, Texas Webfile) do not always meet 4.5:1 colour-contrast | Low-vision users may need contrast extension | Contact us at contact@breezeofcompliance.com for guided filing or request alternate submission method |
Third-party CAPTCHA on contact form not keyboard-labelled | Keyboard users may be blocked | Email contact@breezeofcompliance.com for manual intake; CAPTCHA vendor ticket opened |
Feedback & Formal Complaints
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please:
E-mail: contact@breezeofcompliance.com
Postal: 8206 Louisiana Boulevard Northeast, Ste A #6044, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87113 US
We aim to respond within two business days and resolve critical issues within ten. If you believe your ADA rights are not met, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division.
Disproportionate Burden Statement
Some downloadable IRS publications exceed 300 pages; fully tagging every historical PDF within 14 days may represent a disproportionate burden for a micro-enterprise under DOJ guidance. We commit to supplying any requested portion in tagged PDF or HTML on demand within 48 hours. (DOJ allows case-by-case undue-burden considerations).
Ongoing Monitoring & Legal Landscape
ADA website-accessibility lawsuits topped 4 000 cases in 2024 and are projected to rise through 2025, with 77 % targeting businesses under $25 million in revenue. We track legal updates quarterly and adjust our conformance roadmap accordingly.
